From a very well-known designer, this is a wonderful cotton/spandex basketweave stitch sweater knit, medium-chunky weight with lovely drape that has some body. It's unusual in that it's quite stable lengthwise, but very elastic widthwise with about 25% stretch and a springy recovery. It has a textured surface that resembles a basketweave, it's pretty much opaque but when it stretches you can peek through the stitches. The color is a pretty grape (PANTONE 18-3932 is close). Perfect for a cardigan, tunic, sweater dress or skirt, knit suit, etc. Dry cleaning recommended, but if you wish to hand wash please test first, and lay flat to dry.
