Italian chunky black/gray/ww 'fairisle' wool knit 1.625 yds

From a designer sample room, this Italian all-wool chunky sweater knit is divine! The black, gray and winter white yarns create a beautiful repeating fairisle-ish design (21" repeat) that is perfect with anything from black denim, wool sateen or ponte. The right side has a brushed, berber-ish texture, while the reverse is a more flat weave, with a ribbed texture, but the design shows equally well on both sides. Absolutely gorgeous quality! Make a sweater coat or jacket, indoor or outdoor, a very oversized pullover or tunic top. It also makes FANTASTIC blanket! It has just a bit of sweatery stretch in the width, and is stable in the length. Dry clean or treat as you would any fine sweater knit (please test first if you choose to hand wash).
