From Italian designer deadstock, this is a gorgeous wool blend suiting or coating with a twill weave. The yarn-dyed stripe design runs vertically with a horizontal repeat just over 1" (each gray stripe is about 5/8" wide). It has a rich texture, and though it is warm and substantial it is not overly bulky. It is stable in both directions with firmness in the drape. The color story is warm gray on a dark navy background with delightful speckled highlights in aqua, cobalt, etc. Perfect for making transitional garments. Make a stunning jacket, suit, coat, dress or skirt, etc., or use a warm lining to sew a winter coat. Dry cleaning is recommended.
