This is a classic Chanel-style cotton blend tweed suiting, nearly opaque with an interesting weave that forms a yarn-dyed check pattern. It has a dry hand with a rich texture and no stretch. It is a more firm, heavier suiting weight with body in the drape. Its selvedge has a short fringe which can be used as an accent at the pockets and hem. An excellent choice for a Chanel-style jacket, dress coat, etc. Line with charmeuse or Bemberg for an elegant and classic look. Dry cleaning recommended.
