From Italian designer deadstock, this incredibly unique boiled wool fleece will make a show-stopping cozy cardigan jacket, cocoon coat, cape, shawl, and more. It is so visually stunning, it could even be hung as wall art! The fabulous textured, yarn-dyed floral design (14.5" repeat) is knitted-in and is seen as a plain knit stitch on the reverse. It has a very dimensional, fleecy surface on the face with substantial body in the drape. Both selvedges feature a sweet little stripe edge, so the selvedge is completely usable for sleeves, hemlines, pockets, etc. Colors include a stunning moss green, peachy pink, subdued violet and marled gray. The fabric has a knit construction with about 15% stretch in the width, just a bit of give in the length. Since it is a very stable knit, it's a perfect choice for an unlined jacket or coat style (but it can also be lined, if you wish!). We do not have exact fabric content, but it is high-percentage wool with a small amount of synthetic fibers in the yarns of the charcoal background. Dry cleaning recommended. YARDAGE IS VERY LIMITED.
