From Mind the Maker, a wonderful supplier of organic fabrics, this beauty is an organic cotton slub jacquard sweater knit with a plain knit stitch accented by meandering horizontal lines. Produced in Turkey for the Danish company, this fabric is Oeko-Tex and GOTS certified, assuring organic fibers and non-toxic chemicals and dyes. It is medium weight and opaque with about 20% widthwise stretch. It has a soft drape with some body, and the color is lagoon, a tealy, rich blue tone (PANTONE 18-4023 is close) with a matte finish. It has a soft and cottony texture, and the knitted-in design creates interest and dimension. The back side is not meant to be seen. Perfect for a cardigan, pullover, sweater dress, knit top, etc. Hand or machine wash cool, gentle, and lay flat to dry. Do not dry clean, do not tumble dry.
