From a Dutch manufacturer specializing in high-quality sustainable fabrics, this is a very unique, intricately embroidered denim. We have limited yardage and it is such a find! The base fabric is a lightweight 4 oz. cotton denim, and the embroidery adds some firmness to the drape. It is completely opaque, soft and smooth with no stretch. The phenomenal "lovely leaf" design has a vertical repeat of about 26.5". The denim is a soft black, embroidered with a lustrous copper thread along with a natural white yarn. It is Oeko-Tex certified for non-toxic chemicals and dyes. Make an amazing jacket, shirt, skirt, dress, etc. Also great for sewing bags and home decor. Machine was cool and lay flat or hang to dry. Do not bleach and iron on low.
