Description

From deadstock of an American brand that is a titan of NY fashion and made in Italy, this is an exceptional all-cotton twill doubleface with a super soft, lightly brushed surface on both sides. It is a lighter coating or medium suiting weight with a reversible design that features a unique, decorative selvage which can be used as a feature. This fabric is warm and substantial but not dense or stiff with some cottony body in the drape. One side is a stunning blue, while the other is a heathered dark charcoal gray. The selvedge is neat and attractive; mixing a blend of both colors in a .5" border along each selvage. Since this fabric is completely stable, you may lay out your pattern pieces either way, allowing you to place the selvage at sleeve, pocket or collar if desired. The options are endless! Test first if you'd like to machine wash at home. Use cool water and tumble dry low, or dry clean.

Please note that while this fabric is fully reversible, it is NOT a double cloth and the layers cannot separate easily. Exquisite quality! Perfect for a coat, cape or jacket.
