Sourced from Italy, this Lor0 Piana deadstock is an exceptional quality cotton blend doubleface with a different scale of knit stitch on each side. The right side is a 1x1 ribbed knit stitch, soft and smooth but visually rich with texture. The reverse is a very fine plain knit stitch. The two layers are knitted together and cannot be separated. This fabric has about 20% widthwise stretch with good recovery. It is opaque and medium weight with some body in the drape. It has a soft and dry, sweatery hand and while it is substantial, it is not dense or heavy. The color is kelp (PANTONE 17-0929) with a matte finish. Perfect for a cardigan, jacket, pullover, tunic, sweater dress or skirt, etc. Hand wash and lay flat to dry.
