Italian yarn dyed plaid jacquard knit - electric lime/midnight 2.25 yd

From Italian designer deadstock, this is a smart and stylish yarn-dyed jacquard knit, a little lighter in weight and drape than a doubleknit and not as heavy or firm as ponte. The plaid design (1.875" repeat) is knitted in a near-black midnight blue, electric lime and off-white (PANTONE 14-0340 is close, etc.). The back side is a m�lange of all three fibers, with the same soft texture as the face, which would make wonderful contrasting pattern pieces and for some styles prevents the need for lining. It has 20% stretch widthwise an 10% lengthwise, and is opaque with body in the drape. It would be perfect for a tunic, cardigan, pullover, light jacket, top, sheath dress, skirt, edgy cigarette pants, etc. So versatile!
