Italian yarn dyed houndstooth jacquard knit - black/white 2.125 yd

From Italian designer deadstock, this is a smart and stylish yarn-dyed jacquard knit, a little lighter in weight and drape than a doubleknit and not as heavy or firm as ponte. The classic houndstooth graphic (.875" repeat) is knitted in cloudy-white and black. The back side is a m�lange of the two colors, with the same soft texture as the face so your garment may not need lining (a bit of the pattern shows through to the reverse). It is opaque with some body in the drape, and has 20% widthwise stretch (stable lengthwise). It would be perfect for a tunic, cardigan, pullover, light knit jacket, top, sheath dress, skirt, cigarette pants, etc. So versatile!
