From a NY designer, this is a wonderful yarn-dyed diagonally striped ponte, a medium weight doubleknit with 4-way stretch (40% widthwise and 20% lengthwise) and diagonal ribbing on the "right side". On the face it has blue and black striping (PANTONE 19-4151 is close) and the reverse is a tweedy blend of the sky and black threads, and can serve as nice contrast. Perfect for a form-fitting jacket, skinny pants, fitted dress or skirt, tunic, etc. An interesting chevron effect can be achieved by alternating the direction of the stripes on different pattern pieces. Please test first if you wish to hand or machine wash cold and tumble dry low or hang to dry, or dry clean.
