This lovely yarn-dyed jacquard doubleknit from a CA designer, has equal stretch in the length and the width (about 30%), so it could be cut with or across the grain. It is medium weight and opaque with nice drape that has some body, and the "daubs and flecks" graphic design (19" vertical repeat) features black, brick, salmon, putty and taupe (PANTONE 15-1423, 18-1235, 18-3712, etc.). It has a smooth, sweatery surface texture and the reverse is a pretty, tweedy mix of all the colors. Use for any pattern calling for doubleknit: a sheath dress or knit skirt, cardigan jacket, tunic, etc. Dry clean or test first if you would like to try hand washing, and lay flat to dry.
