From a NY designer, this diamond textured matelasse' knit is fabulous! The color is black, and it has about 30% widthwise and 40% lengthwise stretch but is quite stable. The diamond pattern can be oriented in either direction, and it is a soft and drapey doubleknit weight with dimension and texture. It would be perfect for a cardigan, knit jacket, upscale hoodie, tunic, fitted dress or skirt, etc. Dry clean or please test first if you choose to hand wash, and lay flat to dry.
