Italian matelasse knit - lyric flower graphic

I'm in love with this beautiful cotton blend, yarn-dyed matelasse' knit from a NY designer and made in Italy! The fabric has a textured surface and the weight and drape are like a doubleknit with 25% widthwise stretch. I love the lyric flower graphic pattern in black and off white, and one selvedge has a very pretty stripey banded look. Make a fabulous fitted dress, cardigan jacket, pencil skirt, knit suit, tunic, etc. The weight is extremely versatile and the cotton blend is SO comfortable to wear! Dry clean, or test first if you wish to hand wash and lay flat or hang to dry.
