From a US supplier, this is an absolutely beautiful chunky sweater knit with a 1 x 1 rib that runs vertically. It is substantial, cozy and warm yet not dense and very soft. The "full spectrum" design features a lovely blend of rich prismatic colors in smaller yarns along with larger, contrasting black yarns throughout. There is also just a sparkle of fine metallic threads which are knitted-in throughout for extra interest. The content is mostly wool blended with some synthetic fibers for a very wooly feel with a dry hand. There is no elastic content, but due to the larger knit stitches this fabric has plenty of give in both directions--A very comfortable fabric to wear. One side features more of the black yarns, and the reverse shows more color. Either side can be used as the face! Make an eye-catching pullover, cardigan, cape, winter skirt, warm scarf, etc. Dry cleaning recommended.
