'pastel dream' chunky novelty sweater knit - lavender/peri

From a US supplier, this is an absolutely beautiful chunky sweater with a knitted base that is then woven through with large boucle yarns for additional depth of color and texture. It is substantial, cozy and warm yet not dense and very malleable. The "pastel dream" (about 1" pattern repeat) design features an array of pastel tones and metallic gold which in combination appear soft and subdued at a distance. The organic and slightly irregular construction provides a very intriguing overall effect. The content is a blend of wool, cotton and synthetic fibers for a very comfortable feel with a dry hand. This fabric has about 30% stretch in the width, and some give in the length. An excellent choice for a knit jacket, pullover, warm cardigan, cape, coat, winter skirt or skirt suit, warm scarf, etc. Lining is not necessary, as the reverse is beautiful as well. Dry cleaning recommended.
