From Italian deadstock, this is a lovely, digitally printed cotton woven in a versatile dress or shirting weight. It is opaque , soft and smooth with 15% stretch in the width only. This fabric has a bit of cottony crispness in the drape. The monochromatic "denimy floral" design has a 25" repeat and features pretty flowers and a printed texture throughout which simulates a twill weave (the fabric itself has a plain weave). Suitable for a skirt, dress, shirt, tunic, etc. Hand or machine was gentle in cold water, and lay flat to dry. Iron on low.
