The base fabric is a lighter and drapier rendition of your typical raw canvas. It has a fresh, organic look and the embroidery adds some firmness to the drape. It is opaque, with subtle mottling throughout the base fabric and no stretch. The phenomenal "cabbage rose" design has a vertical repeat of about 6.375" and includes a border along each selvage with no embroidery measuring about 4". This fabric is Oeko-Tex certified for non-toxic chemicals and dyes. Make an amazing jacket, shirt, skirt, dress, etc. Also great for sewing bags and home decor. Imagine a bedspread and pillow shams! Machine was cool and lay flat or hang to dry. Do not bleach and iron on low.
