This fabric was created in a collaboration between Japanese fabric manufacturer KOKKA and illustrator Junko Okubo to produce their limited edition "paper message sewing" series! This is a 100% cotton woven, a shirting or dressweight with a simple weave and a dry hand. It is nearly opaque and stable with cottony crispness in the drape. The "daily journal" design has a 28" vertical repeat and features painterly scenes in shades of lemon, sap green, lake blue, pink rose, cherry, kiwi, etc. on a soft white background (PANTONE 19-0230, 13-0746, 14-5413, etc.). Note the narrower width which is typical for Japanese fabrics. Make a delightfully unique shirt, shirt dress, tunic, lightweight bags and pouches, aprons, home decor, etc. If you wish to hand or machine wash, please test first. Hang to dry.
