Description

From deadstock of an American brand that is a titan of NY fashion and made in Italy, this is a lighter weight suiting or substantial dressweight woven. It is opaque with a textured hand and body in the drape. A really lovely combination of stretch and weight, making it universally flattering. The yarn-dyed design is an interesting rendition of the traditional Glen plaid or Prince of Wales check, featuring a 3.25" repeat and more prominent horizontal bands overlapping very subtle vertical bands. The incredible, crepe weave is so textured it almost forms a fine, low-pile boucle curl. Perfect for stretch suiting, trousers, a lightweight jacket, dresses and skirts, overshirts, vests, etc. Dry cleaning recommended. Please note the narrower width and order accordingly.
