From The Netherlands, this is a beautiful quality stretch modal corduroy. The hand is soft and cottony, with a velvety face and a smooth and comfortable back side. It is a mid-weight cord with 7 wales per inch. The wavy texture brings extra depth and visual interest to this comfy classic. It is malleable with some firmness to the drape, and about 10% stretch widthwise. Great for children and adults alike. Make a transitional jacket, overshirt, pants, skirt, overalls, vest, etc. Machine wash cold and hang to dry. Do not bleach or use chemical cleaning. Use a press cloth and iron on low from the wrong side (please test first).
