French wool/cotton lightweight basketweave suiting - deep forest

From French designer deadstock, this is a wonderful wool/cotton suiting with a soft hand and some cottony crispness in the drape. The basketweave combines lighter and darker yarns both in earthy green shades for an overall impression of a deep forest green. The variation in color emphasizes its interesting weave and the slight slub. It is semi-opaque, and the reverse is very pretty as well. Make a suit, slacks, pencil skirt, sheath dress, lightweight jacket, etc. Some styles will need lining or layering. Dry cleaning recommended.
