This gorgeous high percentage rayon blend ponte doubleknit is a premium quality basic. Versatile, soft and comfortable yet refined, this lighter medium weight fabric can be dressed up or down and is suitable year-round. It is opaque with a tightly knit yarn-dyed micro-stripe of cardamom and sand colored fibers for an overall impression of taupey brown (PANTONE 17-1109), and it looks the same on both sides. It is substantial but not dense and has a lovely drape with some body. With about 20% stretch in both directions, it has nice elasticity with terrific recovery yet remains quite stable and easy to sew.
