Italian 'entwined' jacquard knit - black/dove gray/metallic silver 1.375 yds

From Italian designer deadstock, this is a lovely jacquard sweater knit (tightly knit), similar in weight and drape to a doubleknit and not as firm as ponte. The yarn-dyed "entwined" design (3" repeat) is knitted in dove gray blended with metallic silver, and jet black (PANTONE 15-0000, etc.). The back side is a m�lange of the dove gray and silver fibers, with a metallic sparkle throughout and the same soft texture as the face (the pattern shows through a bit from the front). It has 20% stretch in the width only, and is opaque with some body in the drape. It would be perfect for a tunic, cardigan, pullover, light jacket, top, sheath dress, skirt, knit suit, etc. Dry clean or please test first if you wish to try either hand or machine washing (cold), and hang to dry.
