Italian 'copper rose' metallic stretch jacquard brocade 1.5 yd

From Italian designer deadstock, this is a stunning jacquard brocade, an eye-catching woven eveningwear fabric with a smooth surface texture and a combination of matte and shiny fibers for fantastic visual interest. It is a versatile light-medium weight with 30% stretch in the LENGTH only, so you will want to lay your pattern out across the width. The woven-in floral design (6.5" repeat) features coral, muted berry, pale pink and metallic copper (PANTONE 16-1441, 17-1608 ish, 13-2004, etc.). It has some dimension to it, especially in the metallic areas which emphasizes the sheen. This is an opaque dressweight or light suiting weight with some body in the drape. Best for an evening or special occasion garment with structure, such as a tailored jacket, sheath dress, pouffy skirt, kimono, suit, etc. Some styles will need lining if you wish to conceal the wrong side which is smooth, but not meant to be seen.
