Italian 'green Malibu' dotted bengaline stretch jacquard

This fabulous yarn-dyed stretch bengaline jacquard suiting comes from Italian designer deadstock. It is a medium weight woven with about 20% LENGTHwise stretch, so you would lay your garment pieces across the grain. The quality is fantastic, and the woven-in "green Malibu" dotted graphic (4.25" repeat) is perfectly on-trend! The spots are sea green and light wintergreen, and the background is a mottling of the two for an overall impression of a light sea green (PANTONE 16-5421, 14-5413, etc.). The light wintergreen twisty yarn provides a slightly raised texture with a very subtle sheen, and distinguishes the darker sea green spots which are a more flat weave with a matte finish. Opaque with body in the drape, yet still quite malleable. Make fabulous suiting, a jacket, topper coat, pencil skirt, fitted dress, etc. Dry clean or test first if you wish to try any other method.
