This poly/viscose blend doubleknit is very similar to a wool doubleknit or a softer ponte. The texture, weight and drape are perfect for any pattern calling for doubleknit or ponte. The yarn dyed "mad plaid" design in black and white is eye-catching and modern, and has a 2" repeat, so it will work for all sizes and shapes. The reverse has a more blended, tweedy look that makes a great contrast fabric. It is a classic doubleknit weight with a soft drape that has some body, and about 35% stretch in both directions with great recovery. It is perfect for a cardigan, pullover, knit dress or knit suiting, skirt, elastic waist pants, etc. Test first if you wish to hand or machine wash, and tumble dry low, or dry clean. 1 yard.
