Italian wool doublecloth coating - colorful stripe 2 yds

This is a gorgeous wool doublecloth coating from Italy, a substantial weight with a twill weave and body in the drape. It is so luxuriously soft and refined, and the yarn dyed stripe pattern (8" repeat) appears only on the right side, with the underlayer a solid black. The layers are sewn together and can be separated. The colors are red, magenta, cobalt, jade and yellow (PANTONE 18-1442, 18-3027, 16-5119, 19-4037, etc.). The stripes run horizontally, but since there's no stretch you can cut your garment across the grain if you wish the stripes to run lengthwise. Make a beautiful jacket, coat, cape, poncho.
