Mi11y Italian textured plisse' matelasse' - navy 1.125 yds

Just in with a new group from Mi11y, this Italian beauty is a textured plisse' matelasse', meaning that it is a two-layer construction with a micro-pleated texture on the face and a more flat and smooth texture on the underlayer, which stabilizes the pleating. The pleats run horizontally, but the stretch is vertical (about 20%) so you would want to cut your garment across the grain so that the stretch goes across the body and the pleats run vertically. The drape is much softer with selvages "north and south", as shown in the third photo. The color is a beautiful dark navy (PANTONE 19-3935-ish), and it is a dress weight fabric, opaque with body in the drape. It can go from office to evening and is perfect for a sheath dress, skirt, suit, jacket, tunic, overshirt, etc. Dry cleaning recommended. LAST PIECE, 1.125 yds.
