Abraham vintage couture silk blouseweight - 'threadbare'

This stunning silk print is from the famous Abraham Ltd. company based in Zurich, a supplier of the highest quality silks to many of the top couture houses in the latter part of the 20th century. This blouseweight silk has a tight weave and a very smooth texture, and is opaque with a soft and floaty drape. The clever print, in red and creamy white (PANTONE 17-1654), features a rather ironic threadbare fabric graphic. This is a vintage fabric, perhaps a collector's item! Perfect for a blouse, top, tunic, dress, lining for a couture jacket, etc. Dry clean only.
