Italian chunky boucle-textured black/gray wool knit

Another beauty from Italy, this amazing super-chunky boucle'-textured wool blend sweater knit has large "nubs" of fluffy yarn on a thinner knit backing. It has body in the drape, and is fairly stable in both directions with just a bit of give. The puffs form a bricklayer pattern in a gorgeous array of gray tones with black and winter white. The textured yarns are woven in to the knit backing, so it's a knit/woven hybrid. Make a heavy cardigan, sweater jacket, pullover, hat, etc. Dry cleaning recommended, or test first if you wish to hand wash and lay flat to dry.
