famous designer jacquard doubleknit - wine/navy

From a very, very famous designer, this eye-catching jacquard doubleknit has 4-way stretch (40% widthwise, 90% lengthwise). It is opaque with drape that has a bit of body, and the design is a yarn-dyed mottled abstract (17.875" repeat) in navy, wine and pink (PANTONE 19-4025, 19-2025, 17-2230). The design shows only on the right side, while the reverse is a tweedy mix that can be used as contrast. It is best for any pattern calling for doubleknit: a sheath dress or knit skirt, cardigan jacket, tunic, etc. You may want to cut across the grain since there's more lengthwise stretch, but it's stable so will work either way. Dry clean or test first if you would like to try machine wash cold, and hang or lay flat to dry.
