From a very very famous designer, this guipure lace wide trim has a retro "mod" look, with wavy bands of bead-like dots in tones of pink, coral, cherry, turquoise, teal, purple and dark navy (PANTONE 14-4336, 16-2124, 18-3633, etc.). One selvage has a beaded fringe and the fabric is meant to be used to that the fringe hangs at the hem of the garment. The other selvage has a neat band that can be sewn into a seam. This lace is photographed on a white background, as well as also on the dress form which shows the sheerness. The lace is substantial with a soft drape, and see-through because of the open weave. Note the narrow width. Use for any project calling for guipure lace or any type of fancy, stable lace. Lining or layering may be needed. Dry cleaning recommended.
