This is a STUNNING Italian boucle' sweater knit from a NY designer, a Chane1-like beauty with black, salt/pepper and winter white yarns of varying textures and thickness forming a small grid pattern, with a sprinkling of fine silver metallic that adds dimension and a bit of sparkle. The backing is a lovely black and white tweed which is perfect for contrast and trim. It is a textured sweater knit that is cozy, medium weight and opaque with a soft drape that has body, and it has about 20% mechanical stretch in both directions but is fairly stable. This fabric is perfect for a Kathryn Brenne unlined jacket-- (see our tutorial!) or any classic French jacket, suit, cardigan, etc. Dry cleaning recommended.
