Italian 2-ply wool blend fleecy knit- blue/taupe

From Italy, this wonderful 2-ply wool blend brushed, fleecy knit is thick and cozy, tightly knit and opaque with body in the drape. The striped layer has the fleecy texture (.75" repeat) and the colors are soft denim blue and pale gray-white in alternating stripes while the solid layer is a taupey heather (PANTONE 18-3920, 14-4002, 16-1210 ...ish). The fabric has a knit construction with about 20% stretch in the width, but it's very stable and substantial. Make a wonderful simple-lined cardigan, jacket, cocoon coat, etc. Dry cleaning recommended. The color was difficult to get right on these striped wools, so you may wish to order a sample.
