This is a wonderful textured knit matelasse', a somewhat sweatery dress/suiting weight with about 15% stretch in both directions. It has a cozy feel to it without being scratchy or wooly, and it has a soft drape. The yarn-dyed black and silvery-white abstract design has a mottled, textured look witha 2-ply construction. Perfect for a cardigan, pullover, fitted dress or skirt, upscale hoodie, etc. Much more wonderful in real life! Dry clean or test first if you wish to hand wash and lay flat to dry.
