What a stunning jacquard lace this is, just in from a NY designer! The double-bordered motif has more solid areas on a more sheer mesh background, and the color is black. The quality is beautiful, and it has a soft, cottony drape with a bit of body. The design can be oriented in either direction, and the top and bottom photos are on a white background to show the sheerness. Perfect for a special jacket, skirt, tunic, overshirt, sheath dress, etc. Although overall it's a medium-light weight fabric, the mesh areas are sheer, so some styles will need lining or layering.
