This is an excellent quality cotton shirting, a damask weave with a white on white criss cross pattern in the weave, and blue yarn-dyed vertical stripes (PANTONE 17-3930). It is almost opaque, has a very tight weave and a cottony-crisp drape, making it perfect for mens' or ladies' shirts, a shirt dress, etc. If you wish to hand or machine wash, please test first.
