NY designer faux-leather/sequin sheer 2 yds FLAW

A wonderful eveningwear fabric from a NY designer!! The underlayer is a very sheer black viscose crepe, and it's completely embellished with rounded-edge squares of black faux-leather and faceted glass sequins (in roughly a 3 to 1 ratio of leather to glass), hand-sewn in informally arranged rows. The sequins have a leathery sheen that give it a bit of attitude and forward-looking style. Wonderful drape, perfect for a special event garment, anything from a drapey over-jacket to tunic or top, dress or gown. Dry clean only. LAST PIECE, 2 yds. The flaw is that it has a strong chemical odor, which comes out. One customer reported that she used nontoxic dry-cleaning. She washed it in cold water, with mild soap, and then dried flat on a large sweater dryer, at the dry cleaners. She used their in-house gentle biodegradable soap.
