Italian black on black rose pattern special weave

The base fabric is a semi-sheer woven (a little heavier than organza but with similar body and drape) with a leathery sheen. The rose areas are lightly-embroidered, while the background area around the roses is made from thicker yarns in a raised dotty pattern. The background has a matte finish, so while it's all black on black, the sheen vs. matte creates great contrast, texture and depth.
