plumage design fancy brocade - burgundy

This traditional brocade is a wonderful choice for a special occasion! It's a suiting-weight, tightly woven jacquard brocade with a reflective sheen, and a lovely plumage design with a vintage look. The fiber colors are coral red, silver and black, intricately woven to create the subtle shadings of the design (PANTONE 17-1927 is close to the coral red). The background looks more like a dark burgundy-off black color because the black, silver and coral red are mixed (PANTONE 19-2118...?). The grayish stuff in the bottom photo is from the camera flash--the fabric is evenly colored and perfect, unlike my photo! It is opaque with a more firm drape, and would make a wonderful tailored jacket, evening coat, or fitted vest to finish off an elegant evening look. It would also make great neckties, cumberbunds and bowties! Beautiful quality, and what a fabulous price!! Dry cleaning recommended.
