From designer deadstock and made in Europe, this is a wonderful pleated dressweight, a light-medium weight with substance and fantastic texture. It is nearly equal parts silk and Lurex content, offering an irresistible glistening surface. This fabric is stable in the width and has generous give in the length due to the pleated construction. The silk and Lurex fibers are both black, but when the light illuminates this fabric it can appear silver or take on any color it is reflecting. The perfect style for holiday parties! It would make wonderful, glamorous separates, a skirt or dress, etc. that can go from day to evening. One side is more lustrous than the other, but either one could be used as the face. Dry clean only.
