From designer deadstock and made in France, this is a very beautiful doubleface brushed wool coating. It is super soft with a reversible plaid design (7.5" repeat) which is more prominent on the face, darker and more subdued on the reverse. The twill weave is slightly visible through the fantastic, brushed surface texture. Designer quality and truly reversible, this fabric is perfect for sewing unlined, reversible garments. This warm and cozy coating is substantial but not dense or stiff. Wonderful to work with as it is malleable and does not fray.
Please note that this is NOT a double cloth and the layers cannot separate easily. Exquisite quality! Perfect for a winter coat, cape or jacket. Also appropriate for a warm winter dress, skirt or suit. Reserve your yardage now because when this roll sells out, we cannot get more.
