From Japanese deadstock, this is a beautiful quality "babywale" (over 20 wales per inch) printed cotton corduroy. The hand is soft and velvety, with a smooth and comfortable back side. It is a lighter weight cord and malleable with body in the drape, and just a touch of give in the width. This corduroy has exactly 21 wales per inch. The small-scale geo tulip design (1.6" repeat) is printed in taupe and coral on a navy background. Great for children and adults alike, make a jacket, overshirt, pants, skirt, overalls, vest, etc. Machine wash cold and hang to dry. Do not bleach or use chemical cleaning. Use a press cloth and iron on low from the wrong side (please test first).
Note the narrower width, which is typical for Japanese fabrics, and order accordingly.
