Italian yarn dyed 'animalia' jacquard sweater knit .5 yds

From Italian designer deadstock, this yarn-dyed jacquard knit is a softer doubleknit, not as heavy or firm as ponte. The small-scale "animalia" graphic (10" repeat) is knitted in praline and black (PANTONE 16-1334 is close, etc.). The back side is a tweedy mélange of the two colors, with the same soft texture as the face so your garment may not need lining. Opaque with some body in the drape, it has 10% widthwise stretch and is stable lengthwise. It would be perfect for a tunic, cardigan, pullover, light jacket, sheath dress, skirt, edgy pants, etc. So versatile!
