NY designer yarn-dyed black/ivory stripe doubleknit

From a NY designer and made in Italy, this is a wonderful quality, yarn-dyed viscose blend doubleknit in ivory with a pattern of black mini-checkerboard horizontal stripes (9.75" repeat). The reverse is a fine, tweedy mix of the two colors with a shadow of the strip design, and while it's not really meant to be seen, small amounts could be used as contrast. It is medium weight and opaque with a soft drape that has some body, and about 40% stretch in the width. It has a buttery soft hand and is perfect for cardigans, a tunic, sweater dress, skirt, tops, pullovers, etc. Test first if you wish to hand or machine wash, and hang or lay flat to dry.
