signature designer Italian printed virgin wool

This is an exquisite Italian virgin wool woven with the signature H ermes in the selvage. The fabric is incredibly soft, an opaque medium suiting weight with a twill weave and some body in the drape. The fabric is printed with the iconic Nige1's Tartan print, a hand-drawn design with a large-scale plaid look and a 23.25" repeat. It is a stunning fabric, far more so in real life, and the colors are primary shades of red, blue and yellow, as well as leafy green and dark woodsy brown on the ivory wool (PANTONE 18-1550, 18-4023, 18-0125, 11-0107, etc.). It will make the most beautiful jacket, topper coat, cozy skirt or simple dress, etc. Dry clean. We have just 8.25 yards and can't get more ... it's a very special fabric. No discounts.
