"Septentrion is an obsolete Latin word, once used in English and French, to describe northern regions or the north." There you have it! From a new shipment that just arrived from Italy, this is a fabulous cotton/spandex 2-way stretch knit with 40% widthwise stretch, lightweight yet nearly opaque, with a lovely, cottony drape and a very slight micro-pique' texture. From a top designer (hence the price), the digital print is amazing... an obsolete or possibly fantastical map featuring ocean blues and burnt orange and amber land masses (PANTONE 18-4043, 13-0947, etc.). Quite a conversation starter! Great for tees, tops, tunics, dresses, loungewear, etc. Test first if you would like to hand or machine wash, and hang to dry.
