This is a wonderful Chanel-style boucle' tweed with a fresh combination of sky blue, white and gold (PANTONE 16-4020, etc.). It has fibers of varying thicknesses and textures as well as fine metallic threads woven in an intricate basketweave with roughly a 1.5"repeat. This fabric has a very slightly open, yet nearly opaque weave with fringed selvages, and it can also be fringed across the grain. It is a malleable, medium suiting weight with body in the drape, perfect for Chanel-style jackets, suits, skirt, topper coat, etc. Line with silk charmeuse or Bemberg. Dry cleaning recommended.
